How could I use Voicethread?

One of the activities I do with the first graders is teach them how to use the Microsoft Paint program. Once I have give them the basic instructions on using the software, I have them choose a favorite animal and draw using the tools . I could then post the pictures to Voicethread and have the fist graders go in, look at the pictures, and respond to them.
